A local-first reading demo

The reading app stores imported books, notes, reading positions and preferences in this browser on your device. The app does not send those books or notes to a FOLUVRA server. There is no account system, cloud backup or cross-device sync in this release. Export a backup before clearing browser storage, changing browsers or moving to another device. Browser storage can be cleared or evicted by the browser.

The website saves its language choice locally. A service worker caches the reading app and its bundled library so it can work offline after a successful first load. New web releases are checked when connected; pending writing is saved before an update is applied. Closed devices and offline installations cannot receive a new release immediately.

Read-aloud uses the voices supplied by your browser or operating system. Available languages and offline availability vary. The app requests local voices for automatic reading; consult your device’s speech settings. Audio you import is processed locally.

Hosting and contact

Vercel hosts the public website and static files. Hosting infrastructure necessarily processes connection information, such as IP addresses and requested URLs, for delivery and security. No advertising trackers, analytics SDKs or third-party fonts are included in this release. If you contact the founder by email, the message is processed by the email service and retained to handle your request. Please do not send sensitive identity or payment information.

You can remove local reading data through your browser’s site-data settings. Contact the founder for questions about information sent by email. This demo is not a deployed school administration service and does not collect student accounts.

Books, stories and software

The opening collection includes six complete English texts obtained from Project Gutenberg. Their source links and the applicable notices are preserved in the app and the bundled original text files. Project Gutenberg public-domain status is based on United States law; rights can differ by territory and edition. Check the rights note for each work and the law where you use or redistribute it. A modern translation, illustration or audiobook can have separate rights even when the original text is old.

Four Turkish stories were newly written for this demo with AI assistance. They are identified as original demo stories, not as historical public-domain editions or verified human-authored classics. No global copyright or exclusivity guarantee is made.

The app includes JSZip 3.10.1 under the MIT licence; its licence notice is available here. The software demo and design illustrations do not establish physical device performance, manufacturing readiness or certification.

FOLUVRA, Konya’da Barış Furkan Koyuncu tarafından geliştiriliyor. Okuma uygulamasına aktardığın kitaplar, notlar, okuma konumu ve tercihler bu tarayıcıda, cihazında saklanır; FOLUVRA sunucusuna gönderilmez. Bu sürümde hesap, bulut yedeği veya cihazlar arası otomatik eşitleme yoktur. Tarayıcı verilerini temizlemeden ya da cihaz değiştirirken yedek dışa aktar. Tarayıcı depolamayı kendisi de temizleyebilir.

Site dil tercihini yerel olarak tutar. Uygulama ve seçkisi ilk başarılı yüklemeden sonra çevrimdışı kullanım için önbelleğe alınır. İnternet varken yeni web sürümleri kontrol edilir; güncellemeden önce bekleyen yazılar kaydedilir. Kapalı veya çevrimdışı cihazlar anında güncellenemez. Sesli okuma için tarayıcı ve işletim sisteminin sunduğu yerel sesler kullanılır; dil ve çevrimdışı destek cihaza bağlıdır.

Barındırma ve iletişim

Vercel, siteyi ve statik dosyaları sunar; bağlantının kurulması ve güvenlik için IP adresi ve istenen sayfa gibi bağlantı bilgilerini işleyebilir. Bu sürümde reklam izleyicisi, analiz SDK’sı veya haricî yazı tipi bulunmaz. E-posta gönderirsen mesajın e-posta hizmetince işlenir ve talebine yanıt vermek için tutulur. Kimlik veya ödeme bilgisi gönderme. Yerel verileri tarayıcının site verileri ayarından temizleyebilirsin. Soruların için barisfurkank@gmail.com adresini kullan.

İçerik hakları

Altı tam İngilizce klasiğin Project Gutenberg kaynakları ve kullanım bildirimleri uygulamada korunur. Gutenberg’in kamu malı değerlendirmesi ABD hukukuna dayanır; ülkeye, baskıya, çeviriye, görsele ve seslendirmeye göre haklar değişebilir. Kullanım veya yeniden dağıtım öncesinde ilgili eserin kaydını ve bulunduğun ülkedeki durumu kontrol et.

Dört Türkçe hikâye, bu demo için yapay zekâ desteğiyle yeni yazılmıştır; tarihî eser veya insan yazarlığı doğrulanmış klasik olarak sunulmaz. Dünya çapında telif ya da münhasır hak garantisi verilmez. JSZip’in MIT lisansı bu dosyada yer alır. Donanım görselleri tasarım hedefidir; fiziksel prototip, test veya sertifika kanıtı değildir.
